Another month, another onslaught of potentially amazing titles as September hit the ground running with some truly amazing video game titles form day 1.
To help weed through the plethora of video games releasing this month, here is a compilation of the most noteworthy video games coming out in September.

Armello is a Strategy Role Playing Board game for consoles and PC that takes place in the Dark Fairy Tale kingdom of Armello, filled with anthropomorphic creatures separated into various clans.
After the king becomes corrupted by the Rot, a dark force that will eventually kill him; warriors and representatives from the clans embark on a journey to become king or queen in his stead.
With four characters to choose from at launch, with others to release over time In content updates; Armello will have plenty of strategic, fantasy fun for solo players as well as online or local matches.

This spinoff of the Danganronpa series of visual novels puts players in the role of Komaru Naegi in a storyline that takes place between Trigger Happy Havoc and Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair.
Komaru is attempting to survive in a city overrun by Monokuma robots, with only a hacking megaphone and truth bullets at her disposal. Experience a new side of the Danganronpa series with Danganronpa another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls.

Grow Home puts the player in the role of BUD (Botanical Utility Droid) a robot on a mission to save his home planet by harvesting the seeds of a giant alien plant.
Along his procedurally generated journey BUD will find a series of floating islands, each with their own plants and animals, all while attempting to keep from falling from the giant plant he nurtures and attempts to climb.

Join Max in another journey (which is separate from the journey of the recent film) as his trip to the plains of silence takes an unexpected turn when his car is run off the road and his supplies (and clothing) are stolen.
It is up to Max to exact vengeance on the perpetrators by rebuilding a car called the Magnum Opus with the help of a mechanic named Chumbucket.
Mad Max will have a focus on vehicular combat, and will give fans of the series a new chapter in the Mad Max universe unlike any they’ve seen before.

In this historical simulation game, players can take on the role of one of the Warring States’ Warlords (such as Nobunaga Oda) as they attempt to work toward the unification of the states by any means necessary.
The player can employ diplomacy, domestic affairs, or use force against enemy nations in order to bring them all under one united rule.

Xeodrifter puts players in the role of a drifter who travels the stars on a mission of exploration. This nomadic drifter begins the investigation of four small planets after a collision with an asteroid damages his warp core on his ship.

In this co-op Hack and Slash brawler game, the player is put into the role of one of four different zombies, summoned by Odin to retrieve his left eye after it was plucked out by Loki and stolen from him. Each zombie has a variety of attacks and skills that can mesh with the other 3 zombies in unique ways.
Losing body parts also has an effect on gameplay, as parts of the zombies can be used as weapons and tools to progress. Join the newest form of Co-Op brawler with Zombie Vikings, a Norse adventure of a lifetime.

With all sorts of different approaches to the gameplay, as well as a variety of resources to collect; players can make their own adventure in exploration and become an explorer for the ages, worthy of being added to the history books.

In the latest entry of the Broken Sword Point and Click franchise, join protagonists George Stobbart and Nicole “Nico” Collard in an adventure to investigate a murder that leads to an adventure across the world that involves the Vatican, and the Garden of Eden itself.
With the option to enjoy classical Broken Sword inventory or a more modern one found in recent remakes, Broken Sword 5: The Serpent’s Curse has plenty to offer fans of the series as well as new players.

Armikrog, the spiritual successor to The Neverhood, puts players in the role of Tommynaut, a space explorer who crash lands on a strange planet and ends up locked in a fortress called Armikrog.
On his quest to escape he is joined by his blind talking dog named Beak-Beak, and will have to escape by solving puzzles in a point and click fashion.
For fans of The Neverhood, or Point and Click fans, Armikrog will reveal an entirely new world, and interesting characters to interact with and enjoy.

In Tearaway Unfolded, players can play as either the male Iota, or the female Atoi, on a mission to deliver a message to the player.
Along the way as they traverse the world made entirely of paper, Atoi and Iota will battle scraps, enemies who wish to prevent the delivery of the message.
Tearaway Unfolded is an expanded edition of Tearaway, exclusively for the Playstation 4, and will give players hours of adorable paper entertainment in an experience crafted by the same developers of the Little Big Planet series.

Set in a Neon colored battleship; Lovers in a Dangerous Space-Time is a 1 to 2 player couch co-op action shooter in which the player explores the galaxy while trying to defeat the “Anti-Love” and avoid a “Vacuum-y demise” all whilst attempting to save space bunnies who have been kidnapped by the Anti Love.
Deep space is a dangerous place, and players will have to learn to work together as they man the battle stations all whilst upgrading their ships, and attempting to avoid death in randomly generated play-throughs of the game.

Edge of Space | PC | September 17
Edge of Space is a Sandbox 2D adventure game that puts players in the role of an operative of the Ark Corporation, sent to the farthest reaches of the universe in search of habitable planets to terraform. After the long space journey the player wakes and discovers they have landed on a strange, unmapped planet, disabled with no way to fly home.
The player has to discover a way to survive long enough to complete their mission.
Over time, the player’s meager facility grows, and eventually becomes a large fortress as the player collects materials for weapons, armor, new buildings and more.
Survival goes to an interstellar terrain when Edge of Space reaches its full release on September 17th.

Vehicles are coming to Skylanders! With Skylanders Superchargers, Land, air and aquatic vehicles are being added, with a larger portal base for new figurines and vehicle pieces.
When Kaos unleashes the Doomstation of Ultimate Doomstruction, the skylanders must form a new group called the Superchargers to combat the doomstation with their new vehicles.
Fans of Skylanders will get a new dimension of play when Vehicles and driving come to Skylanders on September 20th.

Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer is a spinoff of the Animal Crossing Series in which players are asked to decorate and design the homes of various animals from the Animal Crossing series.
New to the franchise (and to Nintendo) are Amiibo cards, created first for Happy Home Designer to be implemented with the game.

Lego Dimensions is an action adventure game that crosses over all of the Lego Multiverse in a big way; on a planet in the Center of the Lego Multiverse, the Evil Lord Vortech seeks to control the multiverse using “Foundational Elements” the elements the multiverse is built on.
To achieve this goal, Vortech opens portals in many different worlds, recruiting local villains from each world to aid in his search for the Elements and damaging the boundaries between worlds, causing them to merge and characters to be displaced.
Heroes from the worlds get drawn into the portals, and decide to band together to repair the damage that was caused by the Evil Lord Vortech.
Players will be able to buy new minifigure characters after release, with Batman, Gandalf, and Wyldstyle coming as pre-packaged characters. More levels and characters will be added over time, in the same style as Disney Infinity or Skylanders. The Legoverse is going topsy turvy when Lego Dimensions releases on September 27th.

In the 17th Installment of the NBA 2K franchise, 12 new classic teams will be added to the in-game roster, with the return of the MyTeam feature, enabling players to build their ultimate team and collect trading cards of their favorite players.
In addition the MyCareer mode is returning, allowing players to build a player from scratch and rise through the ranks of the NBA. NBA 2k16 has plenty of fun for Basketball fans to enjoy, as well as new takes on established 2K mechanics and modes.

In the latest in the NBA Live series, there have been improvements to Defense, Offense, shooting, passing and dribbling play in game.
In addition, they have added freestyle control and movement with improved visuals. A new Single Player campaign has been added as well, called Rising Star mode, allowing players to live life on and off the court with their favorite (or a custom) player. NBA Live 16 ups the ante with enhanced visuals and gameplay for fans of the series.

Tony Hawk is back! Pro Skater 5 is a follow-up to Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4, and the first main entry in the franchise since 2007’s Tony Hawk’s Proving Grounds. Play as a host of professional skateboarders, in offline single player, as well as online competitive and co-operative modes.
Players can also create and share skate parks with the returning create a park feature. Skateboarding returns to consoles when Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 releases on September 29th.
